Baywalk at the Great Bay Discovery Center

The Great Bay Discovery Center will be hosting a Baywalk program especially for Pack 459 on Monday, July 8th.

During our visit, Cub Scouts will visit three stations:

1. Discovery Tank
2. Waterfront
3. Boardwalk

The program will begin at 10am and lasts 90 minutes—about 30 minutes at each station. Snacks and juice will be provided after the program.

This event is provided to Cubs and families free-of-charge.

A parent or guardian must attend with their Cub.

This counts as one of the 3 activities Cubs need to earn the Summertime Fun Adventure, an elective adventure that helps Cubs advance toward their next rank.

The Great Bay Discovery Center is part of the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve which encompasses a diversity of land and water areas around Great Bay. Its protected lands cover 10,235 acres including including salt marshes, rocky shores, bluffs, woodlands, open fields, riverine systems, and tidal waters.

If you haven’t provided me with one, please fill out Health & Safety Forms A & B and give them to me when you arrive. These are required to protect and insure your Cub during Pack and Den outings.
