Cemetery Cleanup Service Project

We’ve been invited to assist VFW Post 10676 in cleaning up the flags at the graves of veterans at Lee Hill Cemetery. We’ll also have a chance to hear about the importance of service from the veterans coordinating and participating in the cleanup with us.

Participating in a service project is a requirement for the Citizenship adventure at every level of Cub Scouting, so please try to attend this event if you’re able. We’ll have more service project options later this year if you’re unable to make it.

Each Scout that participates will also earn a white bead for the Den Emblem denoting their participation in this service project.

Parking should be available at the Library, which is directly across the street from the cemetery. If the Library parking is full, you can park at the Lee Church Congregational and use the trail to the Library.
