If you’re interested in sending your Cub Scout to summer camp, the NH Department of Education has a program called Rekindling Curiosity that gives every kid the opportunity to attend summer camp.
This program offers:
- $775 for students with qualifying disabilities, including learning disabilities and autism
- $625 for families with incomes under 250% the FPL
- $475 for families with incomes under 400% the FPL
That math works out like this:

Camp Carpenter is $600 for members of the Daniel Webster Council (that’s every member of our Pack) so this program can make camp completely free or reduce your cost to $125.
Please contact Rekindling@doe.nh.gov if you have any question about applying for the program.
If your Cub is interested in attending camp this year, please email cubmaster@pack459.com.
